Autumn and Winter

When it is quiet And the humans are asleep I feel it is safe to go out. When the parties have stopped And the humans are home I feel that I must head out. When the rain strikes the earth  And the dark clouds reign I venture out for a walk.   When the seas are stormy And the humans huddle inside The world becomes my oyster. When the summer is long  And the humans are noisy I long for the Autumn and Winter. These are my times Times when I feel safe Because the humans are quiet. I don't know if many can relate to this. There is a special place in my heart for autumn and winter. Summer and Spring are lovely times of the year, but they are times when the madness of humanity is most prominent. Autumn and Winter, the dead times, sing to my soul. They are times when I feel a little more at ease to be out and about.

Sisters of Annis Update

Sisters of Annis Series Update Work continues as best I can on the Sisters of Annis series. I have twenty-eight chapters nearly complete for Vampire's Fire with around 22 left to work through. Once the final draft has been rewritten and edited I can then work with beta readers and finally move on to the proofreader and editor stage. At the moment it is looking more realistic that it will not be released until 2023. That is unfortunate as I really would like to release it this year but my day job is demanding of time (even though I am lucky to only work four days a week) and energy and this often steals my focus. Twitter I have a love hate relationship with this social media app. Interaction on there is low for either of my accounts. At times it gets me down as I write what I consider quite a good tweet and it gets zero interest. Likes are minimal and growing either my PG Devlim account or the erotic Femdom Vampires account is slow.  This is disheartening and reminds me that it is b...

Vampire's Fire

Vampire's Fire I've settled on a title for book 2, it is now formally called Vampire's Fire. This follows the theme of titles set from book 1 (which took forever to settle upon).  Now that book 1 has established much of the world, there will be a lot more erotica in book 2 as we venture deeper into the lives of the Sisters of Annis and their opponents. I have yet to design the cover but have some ideas running around the back of my head. I work with a Graphic Artist who has now produced two covers for me and hopefully will be able to bring Vampire's Fire to life.

Sisters of Annis Update

Series Update A lot’s been happening in the Sisters of Annis world over the last couple of years.  The rough draft of book 2 has been completed and is now undergoing a final self-edit before I send it off to my beta readers. I’ve also extended the series with the addition of the first Sisters of Annis novella. I plan to write a number of these that work as stand-alone books, while adding to the overall series.  The first of these, Katie's Server has been written, beta read and edited. It was originally planned as the first of three novellas, but upon consideration, has been rewritten to work as a book in and of itself. It is now on hold as I finalise Vampire's Fire and will require a rewrite pending another beta read and a final edit (it may end up becoming a series if the rewrite doesn't work out!). I don’t have a specific release date for Vampire's Fire (sequel to Vampire's Key) or Katie's Server but hopefully the latter will be out before year end 2022. Eric ...

Vampire's Key

Image
Vampire's Key (Sister's of Annis Book 1)  Dominant Female Vampires!   On a cold winters morning Lilly Armitage ventured down a dark alley in search of answers. She had no idea of what lay ahead, of the darkness and delight the powerful Sister's of Annis would show her. Nor of the overwhelming eroticism of their nightclub The Countess, where handsome, naked males served dominant female vampires.   Yet for all the decadent and empowering sensuality, Lilly would soon find herself caught in the middle of a centuries old conflict that threatened the very existence of the world she had embraced.   Uncertain who to trust and with a violent boyfriend hunting her down, Lilly was drawn deeper and deeper into a battle she wasn't certain she would even survive.     An excerpt from Vampire's Key: 'The women — vampires she reckoned — were dressed in different outfits: some in long gowns, others in jeans and t-shirts, while others wore transparent jumpsuits that...

Vampire's Key - Chapter Twenty

Image
Vampire's Key Chapter Twenty   Amy sped through the park, intoxicated by the potency of the night ahead. The number of humans decreased in conjunction with the fading sun that cast a fiery glow of deep reds and warm pinks across mounds of grey cloud. Joggers remained at a constant, varying pace and stride, their headphones isolating them from surrounding sounds. In contrast, the occasional loner staggered by, red-faced from a concoction of alcohol and winter chill. Amy rushed past one of them. He stank of a forlorn life lived on cheap booze and fuelled by broken dreams. He lurched onwards in search of a bench for the night. Barely able to maintain focus, he leaned to the right, before resetting himself and wobbling along the path.  Leaving the human debris behind, Amy probed the park mentally, searching for the vampire.  She’s there, she thought, changing her direction towards a line of black trees set beside the waters of an artificial lake. Their trunks app...

Vampire's Key - Chapter Nineteen

Image
Vampire's Key Chapter Nineteen   Lilly had never felt so alive. Even when her relationship with Carl had been so good that every step felt like a dance and every breath a soul-embracing kiss. That had been amazing, yet was nothing compared to this all encompassing empowerment that she was feeling. She felt exhilarated, as though she had run a marathon and was ready for another. She had seduced and fed on a beautiful girl. She had new powers that she was still discovering, and she was finally free of Carl. She had to find Amy and thank her for her new life. Turning the corner, Lilly’s euphoric charge faltered, then slowed, before halting. Ahead of her, two figures stood in the shadows at the end of the passageway. Their mouths were locked on the wrists of a naked man who knelt between them. Lilly’s gaze penetrated the deep shadows, clarifying the image of the three individuals. The man was handsome, slim, almost skinny, yet firm with strong muscles that were tense and r...
